Jun Ye Wins the 2022 Herbert-Walther Award

JILA and NIST Fellow Jun Ye has been awarded the 2022 Herbert-Walther-Award from the German Physical Society and OPTICA (formerly OSA). This award recognizes distinguished contributions in quantum optics and atomic physics as well as leadership in the international scientific community. Ye has been a leader in the physics community for decades, and has made a name for himself through his dedication and research on atomic clocks and quantum science. Ye’s prize will be awarded at the DPG Spring Meeting of the Atomic, Molecular, Plasma Physics and Quantum Optics Section (SAMOP) in Erlangen, Germany next March. Congratulations Dr. Ye!
