The Lewandowski Group studies how students obtain experimental research skills in the context of instructional labs and undergraduate research experiences. In addition, we work to transform classroom experiences to help students better transition into the research lab environment.

Measurement Uncertainty
Measurement uncertainty is a common learning goal in physics lab courses, especially at the introductory level. It acts as a fundamental aspect of many important laboratory skills, including designing and making measurements, analyzing and visualizing data, and experimental modeling.
