JILA JAGS Holds its Third Seminar

On September 19th 2024, the JILA Association of Graduate Students (JAGS) hosted its latest session of the JILA Graduate Student Seminar Series in the JILA Auditorium. This monthly seminar offers colloquium-style presentations by JILA graduate students, highlighting research across various fields in both experimental and theoretical physics.

The September session featured two exciting talks: "3 µm Driven High Harmonic Generation in an Anti-Resonant Hollow Core Fiber" by Will Hettel of the Kapteyn/Murnane Group, and "Observing Dynamical Phases of BCS Superconductors in a Cavity QED Simulator" by Dylan Young of the Thompson Group. The seminar provided a platform for students to refine their presentation skills while fostering a collaborative environment for sharing cutting-edge research.

The event also included information about JAGS and an opportunity for attendees to learn more about how to get involved. As always, lunch was provided, making it a great opportunity for networking and community building among JILAns.
