Like what we are up to? Contact Prof. Regal if you are interested in joining the team! Or see below for more specific information about current openings.
Postdoctoral opening: We are looking for postdoctoral researchers with a strong background in any subfield of quantum physics or optics. Please see here for more information on the JILA postdoctoral experience.
Graduate research: Our group has on average one graduate student opening per year. We look forward to your application to our physics department graduate program. If you are a current CU graduate student, please contact Prof. Regal if you are interested in our work.
Undergraduate research: We have a variety of interesting projects for undergraduate students. Please contact Prof. Regal with a cv that includes course grades and a description of your interests.
The Physics Frontiers Centers (PFC) program supports university-based centers and institutes where the collective efforts of a larger group of individuals can enable transformational advances in the most promising research areas. The program is designed to foster major breakthroughs at the intellectual frontiers of physics by providing needed resources such as combinations of talents, skills, disciplines, and/or specialized infrastructure, not usually available to individual investigators or small groups, in an environment in which the collective efforts of the larger group can be shown to be seminal to promoting significant progress in the science and the education of students. PFCs also include creative, substantive activities aimed at enhancing education, broadening participation of traditionally underrepresented groups, and outreach to the scientific community and general public.
